Welcome

The Gulf Coast German Shorthaired Pointer Club (GCGSPC) is a collection of German Shorthaired Pointer enthusiasts. Their love and membership is not limited to simply GSP’s but all Pointing Breeds of dogs. It is a Member Club of the German Shorthaired Pointer Club of America (GSPCA) which is associated with the American Kennel Club. GCGSPC Events such as hosted Field Trials, Hunt Tests, and shows are open to all qualifying dogs regardless of membership in this organization.

Like most dog clubs, GCGSPC members desire to promote and showcase the German Shothaired Pointer’s abilities whether in the show ring, on the hunting field, or simply serving their ever important role as man’s best friend. Within the club is a diverse group of people from all walks of life and backgrounds with one intense common bond… their dogs. With this common bond, the novice to the expert is welcome to be a part of GCGSPC. Whether gleaning from the hundreds of years in combined experience, or contributing to seeing another dog owner grow - - there is a place here for you.
